Car Donation Program

We understand that the SES plays a crucial role in ensuring the safety and wellbeing of the community, and we're honoured to support them in their efforts. By providing them with vehicles through our car donation program, we're helping with their training to ensure they remain prepared and equipped for any emergency situation that may arise.

We take care of all the logistics, including the towing to the Craigieburn facility, so that the SES can focus on perfecting their skills. At the completion of their training, we collect the vehicles with no cost incurred to the SES. We are committed to supporting the SES in its mission of serving the local community at their most vulnerable, and we're proud to be providing an essential service that allows them to do so.

As part of their skill set, the SES uses the Jaws of Life on vehicles that have been involved in major car accidents. The Jaws of Life is a type of hydraulic rescue tool commonly used by firefighters and other emergency rescue personnel to cut through vehicles and extricate trapped occupants following severe collisions. Hours of training on real auto wrecks assist in their ability to master this life-saving tool.
